DCH Animal Adoptions Inc (“DCH”), which stands for ‘dogs, cats and horses’, is a non-profit charity based in NSW dedicated to rescuing and rehoming unwanted and neglected domestic animals. We mainly rescue dogs, cats and horses but occasionally also rescue other small domestic animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs.

Our volunteers primarily rescue animals from Sydney’s pounds and shelters, as well as horses from the knackery, ensuring they receive essential veterinary attention and foster care until a permanent and loving home can be found.

The foster care system benefits potential adopters and the foster animals. Whilst observing their foster animal in a loving home environment, our foster carers gain unique insights into each foster animal’s personality. This allows us to match each foster animal with their perfect forever family, ensuring a more stable and loving journey for each animal.

DCH also assists in rehoming surrendered dogs, cats and horses for owners who find that they can no longer care for their pets due to changes in circumstances.
