Edith Allen Wildlife Sanctuary
About us
Edith Allen Wildlife Sanctuary rehabilitates native wildlife in Western NC. From tiny mice to fawns, we see them all! In North Carolina, there are only 28 licensed fawn rehabilitators and only 12 licensed to work with reptiles. Along with opossums, rabbits, chipmunks, etc. we stay very busy. With no funding from the government, we rely on the public to help us raise funds so we can continue to help orphaned, injured or otherwise displaced wildlife so that they can be safely released back to the public.
