Suicide is a real and obvious issue in our country that is not being adequately met by the mental health system, as it does not provide the full support that our society need to overcome it. Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust works to increase understanding of suicide and its prevention among our communities. Our education programmes equip people with knowledge on how to better support one another. With this knowledge now resting with the communities, those individuals go back into helping and supporting each other within their own communities. This experience leads to positive and tangible change in the communities, increasing community health and wellbeing.
