Theobjective is to further enhance the emotional, mental and physicalwellbeing of all children in our region, especially those involved in theChild Care and Protection system of the ACT.This includes our initial objective of ensuring that all children have ahappy and exciting Christmas Day, waking up to a sack full of toysand enjoying a Christmas Day that they won’t forget. Or receiving agift at Easter, or on their birthdays, or at other special or milestoneevents in their lives. Nothing less than what any child is entitled to.We also assemble and supply “Go Bags” to various agencies – thesecontain essentials needed by children who are taken into emergencycare, including personal hygiene products, pyjamas, a change ofclothes, underwear, books and toys. These bags are also providedwhen needed to children already living in care, to give themsomething that is theirs and theirs alone.
