Kids in Care ACT, supports, without discrimination, any vulnerable children and those living in poverty within the ACT and surrounding NSW towns. Our objective is to further enhance the emotional, mental and physical wellbeing of all children in our region, especially those involved in the Child Care and Protection system. Our goal is to ensure that all children have a happy and exciting Christmas, waking up to a sack full of gifts as every child deserves. Or receiving a gift at Easter, or on their birthdays, or at other special occaisions. Nothing less than what any child is entitled to. We also assemble and supply “Go Bags” to various agencies – these contain essentials needed by children who are taken into emergency care, including personal hygiene products, pjs, clothing, underwear, books and toys. These bags are also provided to children already living in care, to give them something that is theirs and theirs alone.
