K9focus is a North Devon dog rescue charity run by volunteers that has its main 'focus' on rescuing and rehoming abused and abandoned dogs.  It also works within the community helping people who are unable to look after their dogs for whatever reason by helping them to rehome them or providing vet treatment that they may otherwise not be able to afford.  In addition to its main function, the rescue has a small centre which offers work experience to local youngsters who can benefit from working with the animals together with individuals who may have learning difficulties or other disabilities.  There is no doubt that being with the dogs can help many people in so many ways - we like to think we are bringing people and dogs together to give both a brighter future.
