Since 1977, House of Ruth has provided services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. We have outreach offices located in Pomona and Ontario, as well as a shelter in Los Angeles County. With a tenure of nearly 50 years, House of Ruth prides ourselves on developing solutions to domestic violence and the economic disadvantages that come with it by continuously adapting our services in response to best practices, evidence-based programs, and the voices of survivors themselves. We invest in preventative and proactive solutions to eradicate domestic violence, rather than merely respond retroactively to harm done. House of Ruth programs include: Housing Program, Emergency/Transitional Shelter, 24/7 Crisis Hotline, Emergency Food and Clothing, Case Management, Psycho-Educational Classes, Legal Support, Individual and Support Group Counseling, Child/Family Enrichment, Older Adult Outreach, and Youth Prevention Education.
