We are Inspiring Brushstrokes, a nonprofit founded by 17-year-old Warwick High School student Elizabeth Roberts. Our mission is to make sure that all children have access to art supplies. Besides being imperative to child development, it is incredibly therapeutic and provides a positive and constructive outlet for children to express themselves.
Funding directly supports the 36% of children currently living under the poverty line within Lititz, Pennsylvania. 
We have collaborated with our local food bank, Lititz Warwick Community Chest, to verify eligibility and distribute boxes. Lititz Warwick Community Chest provides families in need with food supplement boxes. We piggyback on this existing system to provide the children of those families with much needed art supplies.
Studies show that low-income students that have access to art are twice as likely to graduate from college than students who did not. There are also over 5-million people currently employed in art-related occupations. Art is not a frivolity. It has a much deeper impact than just beauty and fun.
