Rusty’s Legacy is a  dog rescue in rural Western North Carolina.  The rescue saves abandoned and neglected dogs and dogs who are at risk of being taken to County Shelters. 

The rescue provides medical care, emotional and behavioral healing and training to prepare the dogs for their new, loving homes. We then adopt the dogs to those homes.

We run entirely on donations and the passion of dedicated volunteers.
