Hope After Suicide Loss

About us

BACKGROUND: At Hope after Suicide Loss (HOPE), we are committed to helping you navigate the difficult journey of grief after losing a loved one to suicide. Our services are designed for survivors - those who have been bereaved by suicide - offering professional services alongside peer-led support to meet their unique and complex needs.

WHO WE SUPPORT: We offer open-ended support to people living in Norfolk and Suffolk to help ease the isolation often felt by those who have lost someone to suicide. Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and over, ensuring they receive the care and understanding they deserve.

SUICIDE BEREAVEMENT: Suicide bereavement is different from other forms of grief. It is the only type of loss where a person has died by their own hand, often leaving survivors with profound emotions and unanswered questions.

HOPE'S SERVICES: HOPE provides a compassionate space where you can process your grief and connect with others who truly understand your experience. Our services include monthly support groups with peers in six locations across Suffolk and Norfolk, bereavement support calls, and limited professional counselling. We also regularly hold and attend events to open the conversation around suicide, working towards suicide prevention and reducing stigma.
