We are a search and rescue organisation (charity) set up to respond with blue light agencies to find and locate missing persons and bring them home to there families. The team also are flood swift water rescue trained and respond to water rescue incidents. We are formally tasked by Cumbria police. We also respond to the call from community for missing or injured animals that may need rescue before the animal can receive medical attention. We are a charity and all our officers are volunteers. We regularly compete safety talks in schools and attend events. The team also have a medical team. We rely to keep the organisation running on help and support from companies and organisations and the support from our local community.

We can be tasked at all times the team operates 24hr a day all year round. We are passionate about what we do and helping others. We work closely with different councils on events.

The organisation has to pay for everything to keep operating uniform, training qualifications ,vehicles, water rescue equipment, insurance, and much more.
