Hoofs2010 Inc has been working since 2010 to save promote and advocate for better management by government departments to ensure we have Australian Brumbies in the environment for generations to come. We are a group of individuals that come together to make change whilst rescuing and showcasing to the world what a great asset our wild horses can be to the equine world. To date we have assisted over 100 Brumbies and attended many meetings with government whilst researching and preparing Management documents to ensure we can see the Brumbies have a future, Our work includes a small Sanctuary where rescued Brumbies are prepared for life in the domestic world, we then offer our Brumbies to like minded Australians on contract we do not support breeding of wild horses and wish to see the same policies adopted in the broader community, All positions on the committee and membership are on a volunteer basis which sees all funds we raise go towards,Rescue, Rehoming, Advocacy, and events run by the Association, Our insurance is a big expense and one that we must engage to be able to continue our work, Our Revenue is less than $50,000 per Annum and we would desperately like to increase our funds so we can continue to grow in the years ahead, We also work along side other equine groups and step up where we can to assist, We have also supported other initiatives such as the 2011 Queensland Flood appeal just to mention our very successful efforts that saw Hoofs volunteers travel and stay in Queensland for 7 days delivering assistance and care to those effected. All animals saved through Hoofs have the opportunity to return to us ensuring a brighter future, We feel that it is a life time commitment to any horse that comes through our program, We hope we can build the coffers to enable us to grow while so many Brumbies are at risk , it is our desire to be the best Brumby Rescue possible we can only do that through help from the public.
