Home Away From Home Equine Care in a small nonprofit that helps the horse owner make a decision of surrendering their horse that they can no longer take care of because their life had major changes, devoice, health issues ,moving or income problems. Instead of selling or sending their beloved horse to auction which might not end in a forever home. HAFHEC will take these beloved horses and retain them for the ring and then used them in a therapeutic riding programs for children and adults. These horses are in a program that will give children a change to learn to train them for this program and then see that they helped save a horse and enhanced a special need client to enjoy their interaction with these horses. It's a "win win " solution.
