Holy Apostles Orthodox Church is a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), Eastern American Diocese, founded with the purpose of bringing the Gospel and Divine Services of the Orthodox Church to the people of America in the English language.  In 2009 we were gifted a beautiful, historic chapel and two-acre campus by the Christian Brothers. And we made it our mission to restore this chapel, built almost 200 years ago by admiral Daniel Ammend, childhood friend of President Grant, and preserve the beauty and the history, while grafting this new parish branch on the ancient tree of the Universal Orthodox Church. In order to move to the property and make it our permanent home, we need to first build the parish hall, which would provide the necessary facilities for parish life and temporary worship, while we restore the historic chapel. Please come and visit us in our current location and become a part of creating history in Beltsville by helping us build the permanent church home.
