AFH rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes approximately 1,000 abused, neglected, and abandoned puppies and dogs every year. Every animal receives whatever level of care they require, whether it is a $15 vaccination or a $15,000 surgery. Once we commit to an animal, we are all in. Our 2,400 volunteers help us to fulfill our mission by fostering dogs and transporting them from rural shelters to foster parents and/or our veterinarian.
