Paws With A Cause (PAWS) transforms lives and strengthens communities through partnerships with custom-trained working dogs. Since 1979, PAWS has helped individuals with disabilities gain greater independence, confidence, and safety through assistance dogs custom-trained to meet their unique needs. PAWS also places facility dogs in schools, hospitals, counseling centers, and other community settings where they provide comfort and support in moments when it's needed most.

The investment to raise, train, and place a working dog is $60,000, but every PAWS dog is provided at no cost to the client. A gift to PAWS helps cover puppy development, veterinary care, professional training, placement services, and lifelong support for individuals, families, and communities across Michigan and beyond.
