At Heeling House, we're a non-profit dedicated to changing the lives of children and young adults in the Northern Virginia/metro DC area. Our therapy dogs give people hope and relief in hospitals, libraries, schools, mental health facilities, and so much more while our service dogs give people and their families a new shot at life by opening the doors to so many opportunities that they didn't have before. Our dogs have helped children learn to walk, assisted in developing fine motor skills, and encouraged those with extreme anxiety to leave their house for the first time in years. Each story is unique, but each one is just as special and impactful to the children and young adults in our community. Your donation will allow us to continue to train and provide equipment for these dogs so that they can keep doing what they do best: changing lives.
