As the President and Founder of Hearts for Kindness to share a little of our story. Like most Non-profits funds are harder to come by this year. Unlike most non-profits we are all volunteers and 100% of every dollar goes right back out into the community to help others!Our purpose is to promote community and hope. We do this through acts of kindness that bring people together within the community, like free face-painting and crafts at a community event, also by filling small financial needs like coats, boots, groceries, bicycles, clothes, and Christmas presents, up to $250 per household. Secondly, through financial assistance up to $500 per household to help with expenses such as utilities, car repairs or payments and other expenses most other social services cannot help with. We try to fill the gaps in the social services in our state and also assist the families that might be just outside their reach yet still living paycheck to paycheck. We help to keep families and individuals warm, fed, clothed, housed and so much more. In 2023 alone we have given out over $35,000 in all locally raised donations, and we need your help to do more!
