Our mission is to provide Hope, Help, and Healing for All those in most need through Service, Advocacy and Community Support. Our vision is to work with each neighbor (patient) to identify the factors keeping them in poverty or bad health and to set a plan in place that provides them with the hope and help needed to seek and find greater independence, self-reliance and personal healing. We do this by providing a variety of services, including but not limited to: Crisis Financial Assistance, Monthly Supplemental Food and Nutrition Services, Free and Charitable Clinic, Pharmacy, Housing Assistance, SOAR (SSI/SSDI OUTREACH, ACCESS AND RECOVERY) assisting our neighbors to navigate through the social security and disability application process, providing clothing, showers and laundry services for our homeless neighbors, providing Diabetes education and Nutritional guidance for our Diabetic Neighbors. Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry is unique in that we utilize a "wholistic" (whole person) view when assessing our neighbors in need.
