Forever Savvy is a Not For Profit organisation working with adults with learning disabilities to help them attain their full potential. Our three centres Horse Savvy, Creative Savvy and Café Savvy offer different environments for our Trainees to grow and thrive. Through working with animals at Horse Savvy our trainees learn how to care for others human or not and how their mood and body language can effect others. At Creative the trainees learn how to grow vegetables and plants and learn that in order for something to grow it must be cared for. They also create objects out of wood which gives them a sense of pride and achievement. At Café Savvy they learn how to communicate with customers and how to behave at work as well as cooking or baking lovely goods. Our Work Savvy programme allows those that are willing and able to look at how to find work and helps them with the process or getting ready for work. WE support through the whole process and still once they are employed in the form of Job Mentors. We are currently supporting 7 adults in paid employment. To be able to achieve our successes we need to make sure that our trainees have the correct equipment and that it is safe to use. WE have a constant need to replenish.
