About us
Cola Town Bike Collective (CTBC) is a nonprofit, full-service bike shop dedicated to providing affordable, reliable transportation through bikes and repairs.
We are a community hub for people who ride–a place to get a bike, learn to maintain it, connect with others, and advocate for better streets.
We envision a Midlands where bikes are a safe, reliable, and common mode of transportation–ensuring that people who depend on them have the support, infrastructure, and community they need.
CTBC: The Community Hub for People Who Ride
We provide transportation access to all through free / affordable bikes and repairs.
We teach bike maintenance and repair skills to empower riders.
We host events, group rides, and programs to build a strong community of bike riders.
The Reliable Transportation Initiative (RTI) ensures people can access safe, affordable bikes, and is the cornerstone of the day to day of the bike shop.
Our shop is open to everyone–whether you rely on a bike or just love to ride.
The Bicycle Repair Network maintains public bike repair stations across the downtown region.
We host Sprocket as a safe bike map to help people navigate the region.
CTBC provides gear, support, and education to help people confidently use bikes for transportation.
CTBC provides the bikes. Cola Town Bike Walk exists to push for safer streets.
Cola Town Bike Walk supports CTBC’s mission by advocating for better bike infrastructure.
Our focus is on people, not just policy–advocacy is about making biking safer for the people we serve every day.
