Haiti has a water crisis. Most water sources are contaminated and Haitian families have no choice but to use that water to meet their family's daily water needs. They're daily battling water-borne disease. It doesn't have to be this way, and we can be part of creating change by giving people a means to treat the water they do have available, right in their homes, and make it safe to drink. By building biosand water filters we can provide an amazing, cost effective, and reliable tool, while also providing full-time employment and supporting the local economy. Each filter we install costs about $100, which is a very small investment for a huge impact.
