Soundview is a faith-based 501c3 organization committed to walking alongside women and families who are navigating the challenges of an unexpected pregnancy. We exist to provide access to comprehensive, high-quality healthcare along with educational, practical, and emotional support at no-cost to our communities. We offer a welcoming space where women can explore their options and feel empowered in their decisions. Founded 35 years ago by a local pastor and a group of community members, our organization began in response to a growing need for compassionate support. What started as an outreach offering coaching and material aid has become a thriving center for holistic care. In 2014, we expanded our services to include free medical care, significantly increasing our impact and reach. Today, with a dedicated team of 20 professionals serving in our three office locations and via telehealth, we are one of the largest life-affirming organizations in New York and the ONLY non-profit organization on Long Island to offer our comprehensive services at no-cost. In 2024, Soundview provided over 1,300 medical services and $19,270 worth of materials needed such as baby clothing, car seats, diapers, and more. Every individual who comes through our doors receives non-judgmental, confidential care regardless of their pregnancy outcomes. Our services are rooted in dignity, hope, and our belief that every life is valuable. We believe that through education and accessibility of life-affirming alternatives we can build a culture of life and support across Long Island— one in which abortion is both unnecessary and undesirable.
