Every 20 hours an Australian child is diagnosed with cerebral palsy, making it the most common physical disability in Australian children.
Cerebral Palsy Alliance was founded in 1945 by parents of a child with cerebral palsy. Today, we provide family-centred therapies, life skills programs, early intervention, youth, health and wellbeing programs, equipment and other vital support for 5,000 people living with disability and their families. Our reach extends nationally and internationally via our Research Institute, leading global efforts and driving research into the treatment, prevention and cure of cerebral palsy. We ask for your support to help us on our journey of decreasing the number of babies born with this disability, and ultimately, finding a cure for cerebral palsy.
