Hi everyone I'm Kirsty and I have a dream. I run Kirsty's Bird Sanctuary & Wildlife Rehabilition INC located in the rolling hills of Minden QLD. Our dream is to create a tranquil and amazing green space for wildlife in our local area and our rehab releases. To create a safe and food filled environment for them to thrive. We are on call 24/7 in our local community supporting 4 council regions. We love our community and the support and love they give us along side their kind words of encouragement when things get tough like multiple euthanasias. To do more and help more animals we need ur help! We not only cater for wildlife but we also do orphaned farm animals like goats and sheep, plus emergency kitten needs and bottle raising. We never turn an animal away even if its just temporary care until an appropriate safe place is found. We work with some amazing local vets and believe that no animal deserves to suffer in any way or form. We have been working hard for 3.5yrs creating this property and hope very soon in the new future we can do tours and let our local community enjoy it too. We wish to be self sufficient in alot of ways too from fruit, vegetables and water to recycle building materials to reduce landfill like we do now.
