BetterALife is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2016 with a mission to serve as a bridge of hope—ensuring no child goes hungry, every young mind has access to learning, and every family has a path to self-sufficiency. Based in Northern Virginia, BetterALife supports underserved children and families through holistic programs focused on food security, education, wellness, and life skills.

The organization operates three core initiatives: Cook4ALife, a hands-on nutrition education program where children learn to prepare healthy meals, read food labels, and build confidence in the kitchen; InspireALife, a mentorship-driven program that fosters emotional resilience, physical wellness, and academic growth through weekly tutoring and wellness sessions; and Growth4ALife, an unrestricted food pantry that supports families directly and supplies 12 local schools with food and essential supplies for low-income students.
