Our Charity focuses on empowering individuals and underserved communities to bring peace, health, and wellness into their lives. We do this by educating individuals about the benefits of Lifestyle Medicine(new medical field which focuses on plant-strong eating pattern, regular physical activity, restorative sleep, healthy tools for stress management, community and avoidance of harmful substances like tobacco to help manage, treat and at times reverse Lifestyle related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, ...) through nutrition lectures, cooking demos, mindfulness sessions on an ongoing basis in churches, community centers, schools... Additionally we do yearly events called retreats focusing on educating the audience about the pillars of Lifestyle medicine. We also conduct structured weekly programs(blend of Lifestyle medicine and mindfulness) in disadvantaged schools to offer tools that foster better physical and emotional health and ultimately lead to better grades and being a good citizen in their school and community. The children learn about breathing techniques and yoga to help regulate their nervous system, age appropriate nutrition education, and a healthy snack to encourage and foster lifelong healthy habits. We collaborate with our charities to make healthier food choices more accessible in food deserts and food swamps.
