Begin Again Horse Rescue is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of all equines. Its goal is to make a difference by providing care and rehabilitation to abused or neglected equines and intercepting those potentially at risk. We do this through the charitable works of our volunteers, sponsors, and use of foster/adoptive homes. Surrendered equine will be accepted without judgment. The organization seeks to better the lives of equines by providing rescue care and safe haven, as well as by the promotion and education of responsible equine ownership and neuter programs.

While we may not make a difference in the lives of a huge numbers of horses, mules and donkeys each year, those we help are safe for the rest of their lives because we keep ownership even after adoption, and follow their safe keeping for the rest of their lives. One by one together we are making a difference in the lives of equines and, after 16 years, that adds up to a lot of rescued animals.
