Outreach, Inc. (DBA OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center) was founded in 1973 in Madison Wisconsin to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Dane County and south central Wisconsin. It is one of the oldest centers of its kind in the US. LGBTQ+ people have experienced oppression and discrimination throughout history. For more than 50 years OutReach has provided connection, support and belonging for our communities and their families and friends. Our services include programs for transgender and non-binary people, LGBTQ+ elders, social and support groups, pride festival and events, youth homelessness case management and financial assistance, rental assistance for LGBTQ+ Dane County residents, a drop in center, lending library, and cyber-center, information and referral, educational presentations for the community, harm reduction, HIV prevention and other health services, and more. OutReach provides services to more than 8,500 people each year.
