A Gift for Special Children is a volunteer run non profit that has been in operation since 1991.  We work with families who have special needs children and/or children who have a disease with referral assistance to other non profits, state agencies, and services or we provide direct support with their needs to help overcome the barriers to providing access to healthcare for their children.   We help with gas vouchers for appointments, medical costs-equipment-supplies, car repair, housing - including emergency housing for families who are homeless, utilities, and so much more.  We have very little overhead as we do not have an official 'office space', so around 97-98% of funds raised go directly to the families that need it.  We also work to help families understand complicated medical and state-federal paperwork and applications.  We need your support!  We are running low on funding now that COVID relief grants are not available.  We are so appreciative of your support!
