Beauties and Beasts 11th Hour Death Row Rescue operates out of Newton, KS and works to decrease the number of dogs and cats euthanized at Wichita Animal Shelter. We take in the unwanted dogs that no other rescues will pull from the shelter. We do our very best to never turn away a dog due to age, medical conditions, or behaviors. We feel every animal deserves a second chance. We also are very active with our local emergency vet, Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital, helping cover medical expenses for owner surrender or Good Samaritan cases. We help responsible owners with their vet bills to help them keep their loved animal in their family. So far this year we have already take in 35 case of Parvo and the season is not yet in full bloom. With COVID-19 and the resulting financial difficulties we are doing our best to help owners with food and rehoming if the owners feel it is necessary. We are hoping to start a program where we have volunteers help seniors and homebound people take care of their pets. We will offer to take them to the groomer and vet and help with getting the things needed to care for their animal like food, beds, toys, kennels, etc. COVID- 10 has hit us hard! We appreciate any help offered!
