Fetch Foster and Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit, our mission is to “advocate for shelter dogs through education, rescue, foster, rehabilitation and adoption in an effort to reduce the number of unnecessary pregnancies and those euthanized annually.” We are 100% foster based. That means we have no shelter or physical location. Being completely foster based comes with its challenges, but overall, we feel adapting to a home environment, where our fosters can learn about each dog sets them up for the best chance at success. Another goal of Fetch Foster and Rescue is to network with other rescues so that more dogs of all breeds can find their forever home. This includes fostering dogs and/or puppies with other rescues, joining forces at adoption events, and assisting with transportation/fund raising events. Our hope is to expand our rescue over time so that we can save many more dogs. We rely heavily on donations for financial assistance, supplies, materials, etc. so that we can vet, house and rehome our dogs. Most dogs saved from euthanasia in Texas are unfortunately heartworm positive, adding to cost of treatment and care. Supplies and materials are in constant needed for the rescue and for our fosters in both Wisconsin and Texas. You can help us save as many dogs from euthanasia as possible. They all deserve a second chance to find a loving home, free of abuse and suffering, where they can feel safe and loved as a member of the family.
