BARRK is a small volunteer-driven, nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to saving dogs from neglect, abandonment, overcrowded shelters, and unsafe situations. We are based on Long Island/NYC. Through rescue, foster care, veterinary treatment, behavioral rehabilitation, and responsible adoption, BARRK gives vulnerable dogs a second chance at a safe, healthy, and loving life. We also support our community by promoting responsible pet ownership, providing education and resources, and partnering with local organizations to improve animal welfare. Our mission is simple: every dog deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive, because while saving one dog may not change the world, it changes the world for that dog. 🐾
