About us
Ari's Bears was started by then 10 year old Ariella when she was in treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma. She used her own money to make bears at Build a Bear and deliver to children in hospitals and respite houses. Ariella died in May 2019 at the age of 11 and her parents are keeping her legacy alive by continuing to deliver bears and also raise money to fund grants for pediatric cancer research. Childhood cancer receives less than 4% of national funds for cancer research and children are dying from cancer every day. Please donate so we can bring more bears to children and fund more research.
