ANM Dog Rescue was founded in the Fall of 2020 in Phoenix, AZ and continues to be 100% volunteer operated. We are a Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) New Hope Partner focusing on saving the dogs at Highest Risk of Euthanasia. Since inception 2 years ago, we have saved over 300 dogs and counting. We have a proven record of successfully homing dogs with manageable behavioral problems including, and not limited to, resource guarding, separation anxiety, under-socialization and fearful dogs in general. We take a "human-first" approach, assuring that the placements are not only right for the dog, but also correct for the human.

After 2 years of operating with the help of our trusted boarding partner and fosters, we have purchased a property to house our Sanctuary Dogs who will be with us for the remainder of their life. Education and Community outreach is extremely important to us, and we hope to play a vital role in slowing the intake numbers we are seeing across shelters in the southwest United States. We hope by partnering with organizations like Embark, we can continue to scale our organization to hopefully make an even greater impact and begin helping animals across the country.
