Pawsitive Sanctuary is a rescue and rehabilitation center dedicated to giving injured, abandoned, and disabled dogs a second chance at life. Every day, we take in dogs who have been hit by cars, abused, or left to suffer. Many arrive in critical condition; unable to walk or fighting for their lives. At our sanctuary, they receive urgent medical care, surgeries, and ongoing physical therapy, along with compassion and love.

Today, our shelter is home to over 400 dogs, including 175 who are permanently disabled and require lifelong care. With 2–4 new rescues arriving daily, our work never slows down. Our dedicated team of 37 staff members works tirelessly to provide treatment, rehabilitation, and daily support , but the need continues to grow.

Adoption is at the heart of what we do. While local adoptions are rare, we’ve helped nearly 100 dogs find loving homes in Canada, the US, and the UK, giving them the fresh start they deserve.
