At Aiken Equine Rescue our philosophy is "people helping horses horses helping people". We are a 501c non-profit organization, we rescue neglected, abused  horses, ponies, and donkeys. We also work with many racetracks and their trainers to rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome these animals to their deserving forever homes. We work with a lot of other organizations like veterans with PTSD, woman that have been abused, children with learning disabilities. We enjoy giving back to people and our community as they all give so much to us. Volunteers make what we do possible with out them we would not be able to do the programs. We operate on 90 acres with as many as 70 horses at one time with just 2 paid employees. We run entirely on donations and a few grants that we apply for. So any and all help that we can get is greatly appriciated,
