It was a dream to start a rescue organization that did not need to put a price

tag on the lives of the cats we saved. A place which would always provide

needed medical care, regardless of the cost, and ensure a safe and healthy

life for every cat. Sadly, there are times when euthanasia is the right

decision, but only when it is in their best interest and never based on the cost

of care. This was an ambitious mission, and I am happy to say it is one

Loving Care Cat Rescue has lived by from the beginning.

The concept of LCCR was born in 2013 when I brought in the first litter of

mommy and babies. Three years and many kitties later, we were approved

for and received 501(c)(3) non-profit status. As we celebrate our fifth

anniversary, I am pleased to report that we have saved over 2500 local cats

and kittens as an all-volunteer rescue.

From January through October 2021, 813 cats and kittens have come

through our rescue. Per our standard intake protocol, each one received

age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, treatment for parasites

and most importantly, any medical or emergency treatment needed.

Donations given and revenue earned make this care possible.

I invite you to join our life-saving efforts. While fundraising events help us

to spread the word about LCCR, most of our budget is funded by

contributions we receive from donors.
