Letitia Labbie, Founder and CEOLetitia has been working with wildlife since the age of 10 and has treated more than 6000 birds and small mammals, offering a high-level of skilled experience in treating native fauna disease and trauma. She specializes primarily in the rehabilitation of raptors and birds of prey but is permitted to rehabilitate all types of Louisiana wildlife.Letitia is a member of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC), the National Wildlife Rehabilitation Association (NWRA) and the International Association of Avian Trainers (IAATE). She is licensed, overseen and permitted by the USFWS and LDWF.Our facility admits over 200 patients annually, a number that continues to increase every year. If a bird or small animal cannot be returned to its native habitat after treatment and recovery but is otherwise healthy, it could become a permanent resident.

Wildlife rehabilitation is a full time responsibility for Letitia and it requires much love, dedication and funding. We depend solely on donations for funding of food, supplies and construction/maintenance of cages and enclosures.
