Code Red Animal Project Inc. was launched by husband and wife team, Jyl and Brian, in December 2022 in Fort Worth, TX. Our foster-based rescue takes in mostly “last call” animals—those scheduled to be euthanized—providing them the patience, veterinary care, structure and stability they need to become highly adoptable. We then promote them to potential adopters in Texas, Pennsylvania, and New York. The adoption process involves not just the matchmaking, but also hand delivering these new pets to their homes, both near and far. All adoptions are foster to adopt, ensuring that adopters feel our support and patience through the process. We also take calls from the local community, providing information regarding the resources available for issues such as finding strays and injured animals, surrendering pets, and finding affordable veterinary care. Donations and volunteer efforts directly impact the animals in our care, bringing them one step closer to their forever homes.
