We are a 501(c)(3) community cat specific rescue that focuses on providing a safe landing place for community cats that are in direct harms way. Either by euthanization, or human caused harm by losing their home or being threatened as well as education about TNR and maintaining proper upkeep of community cat colonies. Shades community cats is a sanctuary, not a typical rescue that adopts out pets- this means a very long-term commitment Also, this type of rescue disqualifies us from grants and corperate funding.
