The 3rd Morley Boysâ Brigade is a local youth group in Morley, a suburb of Perth, and is part of The Boys' Brigade through The Boys' Brigade Australia. It provides a Christian-based program for boys and young men, generally between the ages of about 5 and 18, focusing on developing character, leadership, teamwork, and faith. The group usually meets weekly at a local church for âparade nights,â where members take part in activities such as sports, games, skill-building projects, and team challenges. Boys work toward earning badges and awards that recognise achievements in areas like service, leadership, and practical skills. The 3rd Morley Boysâ Brigade also organises camps, outings, and community events, giving members opportunities to build friendships, learn responsibility, and grow personally and spiritually in a supportive environment.
Once every few years, boys above the age of 12 may also have the opportunity to attend the PanâAustralian Camp (PAC), an Australia-wide camp that brings together Boysâ Brigade members from across the country. Attending PAC is considered a special honour and a memorable experience, giving boys the chance to travel independently from their families, meet new people, learn new skills, and take part in a wide range of exciting activities.
