Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need of a second chance. They are provided medical care, quality nutrition and the opportunity to de-stress and socialize in a home environment, enabling them to be 'good citizens' in their new life. We rescue dogs from rural and under-sourced shelters that do not have adequate medical support, staff or facilities and few potential adopters coming to the shelter. Euthanasia rates at these shelters are extremely high (80% or higher) Many of our dogs come directly off the euthanasia list. Our emphasis is on senior dogs and dogs with medical needs who have little or no chance at survival due to tremendous costs for care and would be euthanized.
