Young at Heart was founded in 1982. We are a small charity in Birmingham who support the babies and children under the care of cardiology at Birmingham Children's Hospital. We support families whilst in hospital holding coffee mornings and gifting the children bravery monkeys and certificates undergoing treatment. We then have ongoing support to the families by helping to supply medical equipment such as INR machines and Defibrillators, wetsuits to keep the children warm whilst swimming, social events so the children and families can spend time with others families who understand what they have been through and are still yet to go through.
