We are a small, independent, local charity and our mission is to make a difference to everybody affected by cancer – whether you’re a patient, a carer, or a loved one. As an independent local charity, we offer services to residents in the York, Selby, Malton and Scarborough areas. If you’ve been affected by cancer, we understand that this goes far beyond the treatment itself. That’s why York Against Cancer strives to offer a whole range of local cancer services, including counselling, benefits advice, respite breaks, transport to treatments and much more. Since 1987, we’ve helped to raise more than £15 million to improve the lives of local people affected by this life-changing disease. We could not do this without the incredible support of Yorkshire businesses, organisations, groups, schools and individuals.
