Refugee Support Devon (RSD) is an Exeter-based independent local charity, set up in 2001 by volunteers concerned about the wellbeing of refugees and asylum seekers living in Devon. Our vision is for Devon to be a place where refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants are welcomed and supported to rebuild their lives and integrate successfully into their new communities.To achieve this, we provide a range of free support, including initial advice and orientation, in-depth legal casework, training and targeted integration and resettlement assistance. Outside of Plymouth we are the only organisation exclusively offering direct support to refugees, asylum seekers and their families living in Devon.
