At Women Veterans United Committee, Inc. (WVUCI), we believe in the strength of service—and the power of support. “It Takes a Village” isn’t just a phrase—it’s a call to action. It reminds us that no Woman Veteran should walk alone after service.  When you hear “It Takes a Village,” we hope you think of empowerment, advocacy, unity, care, and resilience—the pillars of our work with Women Veterans.  WVUCI is a nonprofit organization that empowers and advocates for Women Veterans and their families through education, support services, resources, recognition programs, and outreach events.  We serve as a bridge between the Women Veterans who have served and the resources they deserve.  Each year, WVUCI rallies our community to uplift and empower the Women Veterans who have served our country with honor and courage.  These Women Veterans return home to face unexpected battles—homelessness, unemployment, health disparities, and limited support systems.  This includes getting quality health care and benefit services, resources for filing claims, and programs for Women Veterans as they transition to civilian life.  Our Call to action - “It Takes a Village” is calling you!!!  Join US!!!
