About us
WINR Inc. supports local women to connect through social, cultural, educational, and financial opportunities and to thrive by empowering women (and everyone who identifies as female) in our community.
We are a community driven group of North Richmond locals who pooled our skills to launch place-based activities and fundraising - in and for - our neighbourhood. We aim to build stronger connections, inclusivity and social goodwill through creative workshops and community presence. We have authentic links to our community - as parents, volunteers, neighbours and through the organic circuitry and enduring familiarity of living together in the “Hood” - Sisters in the Hood!
We need funding to run 4 months of pop up sewing classes for local youth and all ages.
