SAVED - Screening Attention Variables in EDucation

SAVED works in collaboration with health and education sectors as an information facilitator implementing our early intervention 7 Step Program, supporting young students and their families in education. We conduct early intervention screening for a variety of learning, attention, behavioural and emotional differences and issues. It is proven early intervention in early years education is essential to a child’s development, forming the foundation of all other learning that follows. It is important we encourage all children to do well in education, assisting them, where possible, when health and education concerns arise. The government education & health sectors currently conduct early intervention screening for hearing & vision. WHY NOT screen for learning differences or difficulties?Significant increases have occurred in children experiencing learning, attention, behavioural and emotional regulation issues, & are known as prevalent childhood issues and government statistics show 7.4% of children* are currently being affected by them. If undetected & untreated, children are at risk of significant harm to development and their ability to thrive. Theses conditions are known to contribute to secondary mental health issues which are also increasing in society today. Fortunately, when these learning & self-regulation, neurological issues are identified early & supported, significant evidence & statistics demonstrate children can thrive and live successful lives.
