The families of Children in Out of Home Care have almost no Support. If I receive funding it will enable me to set up a service in Tweed Shire to provide them with information, support them emotionally in their journey to have their children restored to their care and advocate for them within a complex system.

Children and Young people do poorly in the system and remaining connected to their families has been proven to give them better chances in Life. My service would provide peer support to Families and my knowledge gained over 20 years in the sector.
