"It takes a village to raise a child" Parenting is one of the most rewarding but also one of the hardest jobs in the world. There is no manual or course which can adequately prepare you and if you suffer from mental health issues yourself or you child has additional needs it can be particularly isolating. At Family First we need you to help us to continue to support parents to do the best job they can in challenging circumstances. From time to time we all need a helping hand to make changes in our family life, just an hour a week makes so much difference to a parent who feels that they cannot cope or that their situation is hopeless. “I have found an inner peace, acceptance if you like of the challenging life I have been given.
